The vines grow using the spurred cordon system in vineyards located about 90 meters above sea level in soils that have subsoil rich in skeletons and clay. Once the berries are harvested and brought to Rocca di Frassinello's winemaking facilities, they ferment for 20 days in temperature-controlled steel containers, then mature first for \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e6 months in barriques\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003e and then, after bottling, for another 6 months directly in a glass.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"\u003eOrnello red wine announces itself to the eye with intense and deep colour, recalling the ruby hue.
