Freshly harvested grapes are \u003cstrong\u003evinified whole cluster in concrete eggs\u003c\/strong\u003e, with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation at a low temperature to enhance the wine's floral aromas. Once the fermentation process is complete, 50 percent of the mass is placed to age in cement while the remaining half is placed in second, third and fourth passage French oak barriques for a total period of 11 months. Throughout the entire process the liquid is not subjected to any clarification or filtration operation, in absolute respect for the noble expression of this terroir.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eTo the eye, Bodega Chacra Pinot Noir 'Chacra 55' exhibits a brilliant ruby red coat.
