Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo Riserva "Bussia 90 Dì" is a Piedmontese wine that originates in Monforte d'Alba in the heart of the beautiful Langhe. The winery was founded in 1864, and over time winemaking techniques and art were passed down from generation to generation. Today, leading the family business are Giacomo and Albino Fenocchio, who inherited their father's passion for the world of winemaking and decided to invest in the future of their business by working to value the land and respect the ecosystem surrounding the vineyards.

The pure Nebbiolo grapes in Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo Riserva "Bussia 90 Dì" grow in a hilly area with southern exposure, perfect for the grapes to reach perfect ripeness. The altitude is about 300 meters above sea level, and the soil is characterized by the presence of clay and limestone with iron sediments for a final product with a structured character. The climate is characterized by winters with cold temperatures and often affected by snowfall, and summers are hot, muggy and humid, with temperatures sometimes exceeding 30 degrees. Harvesting is done manually around the first half of October; in the cellar, fermentation is triggered by the action of indigenous yeasts in steel, followed by the ancient maceration technique of submerged cap splinting for 90 days. It ages 6 months in steel, 4 in Slavonian barrels and stays a few months in the bottle.

The colour of Giacomo Fenocchio's Barolo Riserva "Bussia 90 Dì" is a garnet red with interesting orange highlights. The bouquet of aromas is broad and varied: rose petals, ripe red-fleshed fruit, underbrush, truffle and spicy notes of leather; on the palate, however, it is elegant, enveloping and creamy with an important presence of tannins well integrated into the overall structure and a depth and pleasant persistence that beckons the drinker. In pairing, it is recommended with red meat dishes, game, and roasts; also interesting with aged cheeses typical of the Piedmontese cow's milk tradition. Perfect for enriching the family holiday table on festivities and anniversaries, enjoying a traditional Piedmontese product, and discovering all its hidden flavours.
