Francesco Quaquarini's Bonarda is a sparkling red wine, sincere in its expression and with feminine sides that know how to intrigue and make drinking enjoyable.

Bonarda is a fine representation of the Oltrepò Pavese and comes from the grapes of Croatina, Barbera and Ughetta di Canneto vineyards, which stretch across one of the most suitable areas for grape growing. A virtuous production process is followed between the rows of vines, which includes compliance with organic regimes and traditional, sustainable practices. Work in the cellar involves carrying out the alcoholic fermentation of the grapes in steel, the characteristic effervescence is assumed through the solution fermentation process that generates carbon dioxide. Refinement includes a short stay in steel.

It is ruby red in colour with attractive purple foam and reflections. The aromas it evokes are clean and refined: cherry, wild blackberry, and berries. The palate is soft and enveloping, enlivened by a pleasant effervescence that makes it dynamic and drinkable, with balsamic notes of long persistence. It is a versatile Bonarda, an excellent accompaniment throughout the meal, ideal with cured meats, sausages and the rich risottos of the Po Valley. This is an excellent Bonarda, a perfect expression of a broad terroir with its own specificities.
